Nigeria’s Super Eagles will face the Amavubi of Rwanda as one of the group A opponents of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers billed for next month. This followed the 4-3 victory of Rwanda over Congo via penalties to book a place in group A of the qualifiers. Nigeria’s other group opponents in the qualifiers are South Africa and Sudan. Trailing 0-2 from the first leg in Pointe Noire, Rwanda had to wait till the 55th minute before going ahead through a Michel Ndahinduka’s effort. The dream was firmly on when Meddie Kagere scored the second goal for the Wasps to put the scoreline on 2-2 aggregate in the 60th minute.Rwanda eventually triumphed 4-3 over the Congolese in the ensued penalties to book a place in the final qualifying series for Morocco 2015.
