56% Of Imo State Voters Have Collected Their INEC Permanent Voter Card ”PVC”

Prof-Attahiru-Jega-360x225-800x500_cIt was a shocking development, when it was revealed in Imo state capital, Owerri, that only 56% of registered voters have so far received their INEC PVC. It is regrettable to note that Prof Athhairu Jega’s office lied two weeks ago, when they claimed that 69.44% of the registered voters in Imo state have collected their PVCs in Imo state.

Majority of those that collected their PVCs in Imo state are within the Orlu Senatorial zone, the Zone that the APC governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha came from. Most registered voters with their INEC PVCs have been visiting their collection centres since 3 Months without success. The few people that collected their Voters card has to device a trick, by wearing APC T-shirts to collection centers. On telling their stories of their being unable to find their PVC, the INEC workers will make phone calls and under 30 minutes their PVC will be given to them by some people that presumed not working with INEC.

We are appealing to INEC to allow Nigerians who have their names in the Voters Register to use their Temporal voters cards to vote. It have been proved over time that Prof Jega is playing a dangerous game and have compromised his position as an unbiased umpire.PVCs1

NO NIGERIAN WILL BE DELIBERATELY DISENFRANCHISED BY INEC UNDER ANY DISGUISE. Prof Jega and INEC awarded the PVC contract in 2012 and have seven (7) months to deliver it to the voters. Three years gone, Nigerians are still battling to get their PVCs that supposed to reach them by end of 2012.
