As the Presidential and National Assembly elections hold on Saturday, March 28, 2015, Nigerian women have been enjoined to vote for a President who has high regards for the Nigerian family.
In a statement in Abuja, the APC National Woman Leader, Hajia Ramatu Aliyu urged women to reflect deeply on whether in the past sixteen years if their lives and as mothers and wives have added any significant value that has strengthened their roles as custodians of prosperous families.
She said “they should pause and ponder on what has been done to provide functional jobs for our husbands and children in order to ensure that we worry no more about paying the school fees of our kids and weep no more for lack of money to feed our children. They should equally think about the plight of the widows, most of whom deserve credit from government to pursue their happiness.
She urged Nigerian women to lean strongly on the pillars of good conscience and a strong resolve to utilize the power of their numerical advantage to enthrone a leadership that will recognize, respect and strengthen their deserved place in our development process.
