Born in early 80s in Awka to Mr & Mrs Mansuetus Ukoh indigene of Nimo in Njikoka LGA of Anambra state, ADAORA UKOH a Taurean, is the first child in a family of four children 2 boys and 2girls she was bred in LAGOS.
She attended BLOSSOM CHILDRENâ€™S SCHOOL in Iju hills Agege area of Lagos where she had her prep school, kindergarten and nursery education before proceeding to ABC NURSERY LAND in Ilupeju for her primary education, then to St JOHNS COLLEGE for secondary schooling and to UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS AKOKA where she read LAW.
Her sojourn into the world of acting started as a TEENAGER (Age 15), when she approached an actress who lived on same street with her to introduce her to the movie world. She took her to her first audition which landed her a role alongside the likes of ZACK ORJI, PETE EDOCHIE, and REGINA ASKIA in her very first movie titled EVIL GENIUS .
Subsequent auditions were just as successful. Before she clocked 18 she was already a brand name in the industry, featuring and performing brilliantly in many movies including KARISHIKA, CURSED FROM BEYOND, BORA, LAST PARTY, BLOOD MONEY, and RITUALS.
When admission came calling in 1997 few months after loosing her dad, she jumped into school which to her was the main priority, though she tried to joggle schooling and acting but considering the nature of her course she couldnâ€™t as she missed an exam in her first semester while shooting KARISHIKA so that spurred her to quitting acting totally for her studies. She made her comeback professionally this time in 2005 after graduating with a degree in law (LL.B), with an outstanding performance and interpretation in a female campus cult movie title â€œBLACK BRAâ€ which shot her into limelight. ADAORA also did a certificate programme in information technology with an American affiliated school called KAROX COLLEGE.
ADAORA UKOH can be interpreted as an embodiment of entertainment as she is good in writing, dancing, singing, comic relieving, acting, and recently talk show hosting in a female and youth empowerment show called DIVAS DYNASTY. She goes into the mind of these selfless influential and successful women whose stories can serve as a source of empowerment for women and youths at large. She has also delved into CHARITY WORKS as she is an ambassador for groups like ANGEL OF HOPE:Â Organizing and taking care of various motherless babies homes and the less privileged.
