Ali Nuhu is a multiple award-winning Nollywood and Kannywood actor who has been acting since 1999.
Ali Nuhu is a Kannywood (Hausa) and Nollywood actor, born on 15th of March, 1974 in Maiduguri Town, Borno State. He started his Primary School Education in Riga Special Primary School and went to Government Secondary Commercial School, Airport Road, Kano to attain his Junior Secondary School Certificate.
Ali continued his education in Science Secondary School, Dawakin Tofa, where he obtained his Senior Secondary School Leaving Certificate. He graduated from the University of Jos, Nigeria, where he received a Bsc in Geography.
Before venturing into acting full time, Ali Nuhu did his National Youth Service Corb in Ibadan, Oyo State. Ali Nuhu became a trendsetter, being the only actor to have successfully cut across the Northern and Southern axis of Nigeria. He is producer and director.
He has acted in several Hausa & English language films, some of which are: Memories of my Heart, My Last Enemy, Gani Gaka, Jarumin Maza, Last Flight to Abuja, Da Kishiyar Gida, Balaraba, Fari Da Baki, Confusion Na Wa and others. He is generally regarded as one of the most prominent figures in Kannywood. He has won several awards: Africa Movie Academy Awards, Nigeria Entertainment Awards and others.

Ali Nuhu is happily married to Maimuna Garba Ja Abdulkadir and is blessed with two children, Fatima and Ahmad.
