A statement signed by Bolaji Adebiyi, the director of media in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), listed others to include Engr Simbi Kesiye Wabote, executive secretary, Nigerian Content Monitoring Board; Aboloma Osita Anthony, director-general, Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON); Princess Akodundo Gloria, national coordinator/CEO, New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) and Alhaji Ahmed Bobboi, executive secretary, Petroleum Equalisation Fund (PEF).

Profile Of Barr Sharon Ikeazor :(Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) – Executive Secretary)uche-ekwunife-iyom

Sharon Ikeazor was born into the family of Chief Chimezie Ikeazor, SAN, of Obosi, Anambra State, the founder of the Legal Aid for the Poor Scheme in Nigeria. She graduated with an LLB Hons in 1984 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1985. She has 27 years’ post-graduation experience as a Solicitor and Advocate and a vast knowledge and experience in the field of business development for foreign multinational companies, project management, banking administration, national and international government liaison.sharon-ikeazor-1

In her career, she worked with international oil companies, international consulting and engineering firms, and rose to become the senior vice president of an international consulting firm. In January 2011, she joined politics and contested and won the post of the national women leader of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC). After the merger of three political parties in 2013, she emerged the interim national woman leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).


Between 1999 and 2000, she underwent the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme and did her primary assisgnment at the National Assembly, Abuja. Afterwards, she worked as Operations Manager at Pinnacle Travels and Tours Ltd between 2001 and 2003 before joining the National Assembly Service Commission as an Administrative Officer II in 2003, where she rose to the position of principal administrative officer before leaving the commission in 2010 to pursue her political ambitions.Sadiya Umar Farouq was born in 1974.

She hails from Zurmi Local Government of Zamfara State. She attended Federal Government Girls’ College Gusau, Zamfara state and Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, Kaduna State, graduating with a B. Sc. in Business Administration (Actuarial Science) in 1998, before proceeding to earn a Masters degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy in 2008 and another Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2011, from ABU.

Faruk is a founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). She was a member of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council in the 2015 Presidential elections, where she served in the directorates of election planning and monitoring, field operations, and fund raising. She previously served as the interim national treasurer of the APC from June 2013 to June 2014. Prior to this time, she held the position of national treasurer of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), one of the four political parties that merged in February 2013 to form the APC, between 2011 and 2013.


Profile Of Umana Okon Umana( Oil & Gas Free Zone Authority – Managing Director)

He was the Akwa Ibom gubernatorial candidate for the APC in the last general election and a former secretary to Akwa Ibom State government from 2007 to 2013.

His academic qualifications include a B.Sc. in Economics (1980) and an MBA (Finance) 1987, in addition to specialised management courses including the Senior Executive Programme (May 05-31, 2002) of the Columbia University Graduate School of Business as well as the Senior Executive Programme (1-27 February, 2009) of the London Business School.1439145502_fantami

Profile Of Isa Ali Pantami (National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) – Director-General)

Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, currently a professor of Computer Information System at the Islamic University of Madinah, is the first Nigerian ever to teach in the university in more than 63 years of its existence.

He was born and grew up in Gombe State. He completed his first degree in Computer Science in 2002 at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi.


Profile Of Engr Simbi Kesiye Wabote :  ( Newly Appointed Nigerian Content Monitoring Board – Executive Secretary)

Wabote is an experienced oil and gas professional with proven track record in engineering, supply chain, stakeholder management, local business development (Local Content) and general management. He has over 20 years top-flight experience in international, multinational and national business environment. He is described as an effective and resourceful manager who is able to build and manage diverse and high performing teams. Most recently as Shell C&P Global Local Content Manager, he had the responsibility to develop Local Content Strategy for Royal Dutch Shell (RDS), Upstream, and Downstream operations in addition to ensuring implementation for business outcomes. He has wide experience in local and international partnership development strategy, cross-functional team management and the alignment of global supply chains with local supply chains in countries like Nigeria, Gabon, Brunei, Oman, Kazakhstan, Australia, Iraq, Qatar, Jordan, Americas, USA and new frontier countries for Shell.


Profile Of Dr Bello Aliyu Gusau: ( Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) – Executive Secretary)

With a doctorate in Political Economy and Development, Dr Gusau garnered over 20 years’ experience in the academia before venturing into public service.

He has extensive know-how in research and policy formulation in the oil and gas sector and is an advocate of legal and institutional reforms of the sector.

He was a columnist and has written several articles on Nigeria’s political and economic development. He is currently into consultancy, supply and distribution of academic and professional literature, as well as managing linkages to publishers all over the world.


Profile Of Yewande Sadiku: (Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) – Executive Secretary)

Sadiku holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Benin and an MBA from University of Warwick, United Kingdom. She started her banking career with Nigeria International Bank Ltd, where she worked from 1992 to 1994.

She is in regular contact with the Securities & Exchange Commission, The Nigerian Stock Exchange and other regulatory authorities as well as several of Nigeria’s leading corporations and multinationals at the senior management levels.

A member of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, Sadiku once served as the chairperson of the Rules and Regulations sub-Committee of SEC’s Capital Market Committee. She also serves as executive director, Corporate and Transactional Banking, Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc. She previously served as the chief executive of Stanbic IBTC Capital Ltd.
