0016269_150_215Vuyo Dabula is a South African actor best known for his role as Tsetse in the third season of the SABC1 drama series Yizo Yizo, in 2004.

Vuyo Dabula (born 11 September 1976) is a South African actor most famous for acting as Kumkani Phakade brother-in law of Tau Mogale (Rapulana Seiphemo) in the soap Generations.

He also played Cherel’s defence lawyer Titus Lesenya in the SABC3 soapie Isidingo, in 2011.screen-shot-2014-12-08-at-2-56-22-pm

Vuyo also starred as the lead role in the SABC2 mini-series Monna Wa Minno – the untold true story of Mike ‘Ntate’ Masote, the inspiring founder of South Africa’s first black youth orchestra The Soweto Youth Orchestra, which gave birth to the internationally-acclaimed Soweto String Quartet – in 2012.


Other television series he has acted in include Wild at Heart, Bophelo and Zone 14. Vuyo has also acted in a number of films including Soldiers of the Rock, Invictus, Small Town Called Descent and Finding Lenny.

He graduated from the P.H. Moeketsi Agricultural High School in 1995 and from Wits Technicon in 1996. He currently resides in Johannesburg.
