Demi Lovato Opens Up About Body-Image: I Didn’t Have Anybody To Look Up To

The ex-Disney starlet was spotted wearing an incredible red and black biker jacket by super cool label Kenzo for her appearance, she rocked a very cool shirt by The Kooples. She has battled with body issues that have sent her into rehab in the past.  And during an appearance, Demi Lovato, 21, revealed that there was a lack of positive role-models while she was growing up. The Neon Lights singer chatted to hosts Rochelle Humes and her husband Marvin about her forthcoming new album and about how her personal life has shaped her work.  She said: ‘My album is full of tons of songs that I relate to personally through personal experiences, a lot of which I co-wrote. ‘Songs that are upbeat and dance worthy, but there are also some songs on there that are pretty in-depth and heartfelt.’ The singer, who has been admitted to rehab for eating disorders in the past, added: ‘It’s important for me to be open about my health and things I’ve been through cause I’ve realised when I was younger, I didn’t have anybody in the public eye to look up to that I admired.article-0-1E5477E200000578-745_634x799-1  article-0-1E5477E200000578-745_634x799
