Another Eight of 20 passengers died, And 12 people injured in another lagos boat Mishap, making the second of it’s kind this year, The capsized boat that claimed the lives of eight people on Wednesday night hit a rock in the lagoon before the accident, Bell Marine Services, the owner of the boat, has said.
The company also confirmed that there were no missing passengers, adding that the boat was conveying 20 people.
Twelve passengers were rescued after the accident occurred between Eko Bridge and Ikorodu waterways in Lagos. The bodies of the dead have been deposited at the General Hospital, Ikorodu.

Wednesday’s accident occurred three weeks after a boat conveying about 24 passengers capsized in Festac Town, Lagos, killing 13, most of them hurrying to watch a European Champions League game.
