Michael Ogbolor: On the production set and the role ‘James’
We are here shooting Jenifa’s diary, we’ve been working all day and it’s been a long day. Shooting Jenifa’s diary is something I’ve been looking forward to. I’m playing the role of James, a male stylist, a man with a feminine mannerism. But that’s not me on a good day, but as an actor i have to get into character.
On Jenifa (Funke Akindele):
Jenifer is a total package, actress, she directs…When i saw the movie, Jenifa itself some years back, it eerm..i look forward to work with her because i had my own craziness as a comedian/radio presenter. I have that part of me that always want to do stuffs like what she did. When i had this opportunity to work with her i saw another aspect. She’s someone that knows what she’s doing, she sabi the work well, working with her on set, she’s all out, sh’s not the diva, she’s home, she’s branded. She could go crazy on set, but at the end of the day,it’s basically anyone who is wanting to bring out something good will need to reach out to guys and i think she’s doing an awesome job. She’s down to earth when i say down to earth…jenifa is really down to earth.
