It seems having a TV show is the next step for most Nigerian celebrities, first media mogul Mo Abudu started a television network and TV show.
Now other celebrities have joined and they are all making it.
Here are the top female celebrities that own their own programmes in no particular order:

Media Mogul Mo Abudu owns a television network named EbonyLiveTV and also Africa’s first syndicated Pan African talk show, “Moments with Mo”.
Moments with Mo talks about inspirational, successful Africans and their stories from all spheres of interest.
2. Nike Oshinowo:
Beauty queen, entrepreneur, philanthropist and style icon Nike Oshinowo started a talk show called “Late night with Nike Oshinowo“.
The talk show will be showcasing the best of art, culture, music, politics and pop-culture.
3. Toke Makinwa:
Rhythm 93.7 radio personality Toke Makinwa is one of the ‘it’ media rising stars in Nigeria today. Besides being the sweet voice on radio every morning, she is also a video blogger and a hilarious one as well.
She updates her vlog ‘Toke Moments’ every Wednesday on Youtube to discuss different issues affecting Nigerian women and also relationships.
4. Dolapo Oni:
TV Personality, Marcy Dolapo Oni has got her own talk show called “The Marcy Project”. “The Marcy Project” is a 30-minute lifestyle and entertainment program with a mixture of web features, pre-recorded video footages and fashion tips.
The show will feature interviews with upcoming acts and celebrities from various industries
5. Omotola Jalade Ekeinde:
Omotola also started her own reality TV series titled “The Real Me”. The show aims at showcasing the actress in a different light. It basically talks about her everyday life, work, and family.
6. Funke Akindele:
Funke Akindele’s small screen adaptation of her Jenifa character, ‘Jenifa’s Diary’, is now on aired in most stations.

‘You and I with Monalisa’ is an eccentric show created to address pressing and trending social issues in the most refreshing perspectives.
8. Chika Ike:
The African diva reality TV show is a reality, docu-drama that focuses on the search for the ideal African woman.
Women from all over Africa will get a chance to compete for the privilege to be called the African Diva. The reality series is hosted by Chika Ike.
