MTN Mega Centers Remain Open to Consumers as SIM Registrations Continue

Guided by the national interest objectives of the exercise, MTN Nigeriacontinues to make efforts to ensure that customers’ details meet specific requirements set by the NCC while providing additional facilities for their comfort.

As part of the concerted effort and show of its commitment to contributing to a comprehensive national consumer database, leading ICT Company in Nigeria, MTN, has reiterated its position to continue the SIM Registration exercise across all the Connect centers and offices across Nigeria for revalidating and updating customers’ SIM card registration details.

Speaking on the continued effort of the company, the General Manager, Consumer Marketing, MTN Nigeria, Richard Iweanoge, stated that continued investment of company in the SIM Registration efforts across Nigeria is part of the measures and steps taken by MTN to streamline the registration exercise, in order to ensure a smooth registration process for our valued customers.

Iweanoge said, “We are maintaining the extended opening and closing hours of most of our outlets from 7am – 10pm every day of the week, as well as on Saturdays and Sundays, dedicating 95% of staffing resources towards our valued customers. MTN employees in the other business areas are continuing to assist with SIM revalidation, in our goal of reducing any queues and large numbers of customers at our service points nationwide. With the extensive steps already taken, we assure our subscribers that we are working round the clock to ensure that their SIM registration details are captured without undue delay”.
