The much-awaited 40 years on stage celebration of veteran Yoruba actress, Fausat Balogun popularly known as Madam Saje, will hold today, April 17, 2016.
Billed to hold at Time Square Event Centre, Ajao Road, Ikeja, the event will see Fuji music star, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Olamide and Small Doctor perform.
Judging by the influence the 53-year-old actress wields in the movie industry and every detail concerning celebration, the event is expected to be graced by top theatre practitioners as well as popular socialites.
A native of Oke-Ode in Kwara State, Madam Saje has no doubt come a long way in the make-believe industry. She started her career at age 13 in 1976 and has starred in several popular flicks.
The talented actress got the nickname â€˜Madam Sajeâ€™ on the heels of the role she played inÂ a television series by Baba Suwe titledÂ â€˜Erin Kee Keeâ€™Â back in early 90s.
She is married to Rafiu Balogun, a script writer, producer, director and actor.
