The pretty lady, who holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication from University of Jos, Plateau State and a diploma in Political Science from University of Lagos, Lagos State, in this interview she speaks on her fashion preferences, the Nigerian movie industry, among sundry issues. Excerpts:

Growing up

I grew up in an average and moderate family in Ajegunle, Lagos State. I am the first of three kids from both parents

I went to a public primary school and a private secondary school, both in Lagos, before I moved to University of Jos, Plateau State, for my tertiary education. I have never wished to change anything about my childhood because it made me who I am today.

Foray into acting

I’ve always wanted to be in the public eye but initially considered broadcasting. As God would have it, acting came calling and I obliged. In 2006, I just asked my way through to the National Theatre where I had my first audition. Unlike other people who get star struck, I did my bit as if I had been in the business for long. I didn’t face any challenge per se, it was just that if I knew then what I know now, things would have been a whole lot different.

Coping with competition in the industry

I’m not one who is easily perturbed by the things that were happening around me. Whenever I am invited to locations, I would get there, do my bit and move on. I am not in competition with anybody.
