OGUN State could be on the verge of a messy battle between Governor Ibikunle Amosun and his number two after the deputy governor wrote him an explosive letter complaining about he was neglected including not having power supply in his official residence. In an unprecedented development which is sure the raise eyebrows among All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders, deputy governor Segun Adesegun has protested bitterly about how he is being maltreated. His letter catalogues alleged injustices against his person and his office, including not having power, being given vehicles that are not roadworthy and not having an official budget. Deputy governor Adesegun’s 10-paragraph letter accused Governor Amosun, among other things, of starving his office of funds and failing to deliver on his promise that he would enjoy his tenure in office. Also, deputy governor. Adesegun added that even his September and October feeding and out-of-pocket and sundry allowances had yet to be paid. With gubernatorial elections coming up next year, it looks like the relationship between the two men has broken down irretrievably and Governor Amosun might be forced to look for another running mate ahead of the February polls. According to the deputy governor, he has had to resort to using his personal funds to maintain his office, which in turn may mean he too is no longer happy to work with his boss.  SEE LETTER ON PAGE 2
