Nollywood’s Promising and fast-rising actress, Rachael Okonkwo (AKA Nkoli Nwa Nsukka) , is gradually becoming a household name but has all the trappings of a big star in the making: beauty, brains and the talent.In a bid to give back to the society, the movie starlet hosted over seven thousands of her fans for a free for all party on Easter Sunday at Onitsha.
Overwhelmed by the huge turnout of the show, the light skinned actress said, she never expected it.
“I decided to do this Easter carnival in Onitsha this year because of the love people have for me, it’s my own little way of giving back to the society, it’s an Avenue for me to meet and interact with my fans because they made me who I am. It’s by God’s grace and their support and with sponsorship of these companies Tummy Tummy noodles, Aqua Rapha, Km company Ltd, Eforevo TV and Royal Edge celebration. I really do appreciate them all.”
She further added,
“I did this same show last year in Enugu and it was star-studded too. However, I decided to extend the love outside my state and to the glory of God, people turned out in great numbers. The crowd was massive, more than seven thousand fans stormed out.
The Enugu Born ex dancer also affirmed that Nkoli Nwansukka’s Easter Carnival has become an annual event.
In her words,
“I’m so delighted that I was able to touch lives. The kids were entertained-they ate, drank and the lucky ones went home with souvenirs and school items. I could not provide for all because the crowd was massive but by his grace in my next year edition I will select three kids that I will place on scholarship.”
The Nkoli Nwa Nsukka star actress is popular for flicks like ‘Pinging Ladies’, ‘White Ladies’, ‘Agatha’, ‘Tears of Olamma’, ‘Open and Close’, ‘Marine Daughters’, ‘Blackberry Madness’, ‘Ekaette Goes To School’ among others.
