What could have led to blood Shed today at the Mile one Police Station in Portharcourt City Local Government Area in Rivers State,following the obedience by Governor Nyesom Wike to the orders given by angry Looking Nigeria Soldiers.
Trouble Started when the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) Collation Officer for Phalga Ward 10 was barricaded by the Security attached to Governor Nyesom Wike at the Mile One Police Station.
It was gathered that Mrs Ekwi Adebisa, the Ward 10 Collation Officer was about declaring the Collated results for Ward 10 in PHALGA,when the Leaders of the PDP in the Area alerted Governor Nyesom Wike who stormed the Police station to ascertain whisk the INEC Collation officer away.
The Leaders of the APC in Phalga on the other hand alerted the Minister of Transportation Rt Hon Chibuike Amaechi who came in company of the Director General of NIMASA Dr Dakuku Peterside,DG of NDDC Mrs Ibim Seminntari and other APC Leaders.
Hundreds of Soldiers who came with the Minister of Transportation asked Governor Nyesom Wike to stay clear or else they will release their Bullets.
Governor Nyesom Wike,Senator George Sekibo,Austin Okpara,all stood down until the INEC Collation officer for Phalga ward 10 was taken away by angry looking Soldiers
