According to The Sun, the families of David â€œDavidoâ€ Adeleke and Sophia Momodu have decided to settle things amicably and keep further details of their domestic dispute out of the media by signing a peace agreement.
Things started to spiral out of control when child trafficking allegations were made against Davidoâ€™s family by the Momoduâ€™s and theÂ NaÂtional Agency For the Prohibition of Trafficking In PerÂson (NAPTIP) had to get involved.
Things were settled in a meetingÂ attended by Sophia, Davidoâ€™s father â€“ Deji Adeleke, Mr. and Mrs. Dele Momodu, the Adelekeâ€™s lawyer, counsel to Dele Momodu, Gbolaga Ajayi, Mr. Ajayi Famakinwa, and NAPTIPâ€™s representaÂtives.
According to reports, at the meeting, it was decided that the issue be resolved amicably and that both families should stop the ongoing media war.Consequently, both sides were made to sign an agreeÂment to stop the media face-off.
NAPTIPâ€™s representatives, who took Sophia and Dele Momodu and his wifeâ€™s statements, advised the Adelekes to allow the childâ€™s mother have access to her child, currently in custody of Davidoâ€™s half-sister, Ashley Adeleke.
