Yemi Osinbanjo Says: Today, I met with the the delegation from the World Food Programme, an agency of the United Nations.
The Executive Director of the World Food Programme, Ms. Ertharin Cousin and I, discussed the Home Grown Feeding Programme of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
President Buhari’s administration will not be importing food to implement it’s school feeding programme.
The programme is expected to energize the agriculture base in states, create jobs for farmers, caterers and the entire value-chain which will be beneficial to the local communities.
As its contribution to Education in Nigeria, the United Nations through the World Food Programme, will partner with President Buhari’s administration on the Home Grown Feeding Programme for school children.
Together, Nigeria will prevail!
