Victor Moses Heads Back To Chelsea FC

Victor Moses has returned to Chelsea after being ruled out for the season. The winger has been on loan at Stoke but damaged his hamstring in the 1-1 draw at West Ham United on Saturday and is expected to be out for six weeks.

The 24-year-old returned to Chelsea for treatment following results of a scan. Victor Moses has been in and out ; but to the later often this season, suffering a Thigh Muscle strain which kept him out for two months at the end of 2014. He was sidelined again last month with a hip and thigh complaints limiting his game time this season in the League to just 19 appearances for the Potters.

Last season he was at Liverpool FC on loan and strangely played only 19 times for Brendan Rodger’s side; who showed no interest to retain his services. On the hand though, Mark Hughes will not mind the inclusion of the Nigerian after having been quite impressive in his time at the Britannia. He wasn’t part of Jose Mourinho’s plans for the current season and there’s nothing to suggest that will change next season. This could put his situation at a delicate position if Stoke City are dissuaded to take him on a permanent deal as a result of his injury history.
